2003 Hyundai Santa Fe purge control valve

scan for codesand check fuel pressure with a gauge first

i had no check engine light on this time so this is what i came up with, purge control valve. but i can't find it on the 2.4 on the internet......location of valve???

i would like to try this valve as it seems to be a common problem on this vehicle. i've replaced all the main sensors already and timing belt

apurge valve shouldn't stop your vehicle from running, maybe not idle good but not run. if you don't do the basic thing's I've said then you can change all the sensors and stillnot start. it could be either a crank or cam sensor as well as they wont' set a code all thetime you have to check resistance which I have no figures for so check against new. here's your diagram for valve

the crank and the cam sensors have been replaced along with the timing belt. and it still ran for 2 dAYS then i started it in the morning and it ran for 20 seconds roughly and quit and it wouldn't start again. i've been trying to get it fixed for 2 weeks now.

the print you sent me comes up as a black screen. I guess i'm just not
going to get this fixed today. Seems to be impossible to find out where the
purge valve is on a 2.4 Santa Fe 2003 Oh but the roughriders won, so all
was not lost ha thanks anyways.

thanks anyways, i can't see the diagram, it's too small. and when i click
on it it goes black anyways, i gave up i have no time left, towed it back
to the shop. hopefully they can fix it this time, thanks for all your help
