transmission does nothing in forward gears, only reverse?

No prior symptoms, transmission does nothing in forward gears, only reverse. Fluid good, linkage works. Got in it to go home from work, put it in drive and nothing?

Good morning,

From your description, the forward clutches have failed inside the transmission.

There is no other way to get it fixed externally without removing it and inspecting it for failure. Most likely you will be having it rebuilt or replaced.
