Change the ignition switch

The theft system on this vehicle cannot be bypassed without the use of a scan tool. There may be an option there to all the vehicle to start but if your theft light is on then you are going to have to have the immobilizer programmed to the vehicle prior to it operating.

If they made a way to bypass it then the vehicle would be easily stolen as car thefts would know about this bypass as well.

I am attaching the info below on this system but unfortunately once you make the repair, you will have to have the system programmed so either a locksmith or dealer visit will have to happen.

The aftermarket does offer a system that will bypass the system, but this is not a temporary system. It is a module that will allow any key that can turn the ignition switch to start the vehicle.
