Good evening,
I have a 2003 Honda CRV EX 4awd and i noticed between 10 to 20 mph i heat a knocking or pinging noise from either the valves or something in the top of the engine. I'm a 100% sure its from the engine and it only happening in the lower speeds. When i get to 27 - 30 mph it goes away. Has anyone else have had this same noise issue? Here is a list of what i did to isolate this issue.
(1) i replaced all of the plugs....same noise.
(2) used 93 / 92/ 91 octane gas....did not make a difference same noise.
(3) Replaced the spark plug seals...not sure if it was oil getting into the engine....no difference.
(4) pcv changed....
Please anyone help.
