honda 450 es foreman reverse switch

hi i have a 2003 honda 450 TRX es atv and my reverse switch dont work but just the reverse everything else works i researched i could be the sensor assembly or switch assembly change im not sure can i test one of them to see which one could be the problem and have already talked to one of your mechanics and they said to get a wire schematic picture to help me with the problem.
