can i unlock my doors through engine bay, manually without a key fob or slim jim?

i can access my engine because my hood has damage from a collision with a deer.but when i lock the keys in the car.i have damaged the door leak seal because the unlock push button is located on the upper forward part of the door.i use a solid grade metal wire with enough pressure force to activate the circuit to unlock.or is it possable to use a slim jim?
