I need a diagram of the cooling fan assembly. I need one because I just swapped out my engine due to a faulty valve seat and when I hooked everything back up I noticed there was a connection at the top of the cooling fan assembly that was not plugged in because I could not find anything to plug into it. The connection is in between the two fan motors, at the top of the assembly right in the middle. If anyone could tell me what goes here, if anything, I would be eternally grateful.

Two wheel drive manual 81,000 miles.

I have a 1.8 TDCI. The engine cooling fans are running as soon as you start the engine. The engine does not overheat. Can you suggest what the problem may be?

With the AC off fans will not come on until engine reaches operating temperature. So the relay may be stuck closed.

Automatic transmission.

Hi,
I have SE model. As soon as you turn the car on (even in cool conditions) the fan runs almost immediately and only shuts off for no more then four seconds before turning back on. Could you please tell me what this could be from and if it could be affecting my heat as I do not have any?

Suspect faulty engine coolant temperature sensor, it controls when the fan comes on and off.
