code on scanner reads po302 and po316
changed spark plugs plus new wires ,compression is good
start up good car runs good but sometime the engine runs high and then it slows down
and still the check egine light comes on, why

a scanner has to remove the coes is why your light is still on auto parts might do it but if it comes back it can be any of the possibilities listed in pic plus timing chain/belt
