2003 Ford Fiesta Mk6 Rear Passenger Seatbelt Replacement

I needed to replace the lever for the centre seatbelt as it stopped working. I have removed the old mechanism and attempted to fit the new mechanism. However, I cannot see where the wire is supposed to be attached to the new mechanism in order for the middle seat to function correctly?

I have attached couple of photos of both the mechanism and the wire - anyone have any idea? I am probably caught up on the most basic part but i'm sure I have tried everything!
