Can't get car locked

you may have a button on the door that says lock and it may lock everything fromworking. it won't say door lock it's usually to lock the power windows and doors from anyone using it inside the vehicle. you might try resetting the remote or checkingthe battery in it.

Well I checked for any kind of button..none other than the child restraint one in the back seat area. I disconnected the battery, let sit for about 15 minutes, reconnected....
nothing new. The driver side door is the ONE door that wont respond to the remote or the inside lock button. So using the key in the lock is the only way to lock the car now. To have the dealer repair it I'm sure would end up being the proverbial $4-500 repair.

there are two relays at the "d" pillar. "A" pillar is the post by the windshield then b-c-d so on so it might be by the tailgate. andyhow there is one for drivers door unlock a nd another for all door unlocks. that may be bad you could try replacing it with one from one of your other ones if they are the same. if the door looks work , the you just need a relay. if it's the receiver for the remotet those are around $125 but there is a microporcessor that can be bad and i can't find a price for that.
