2003 engine into 2006 hyundai accent

Bought the car listed above with a bad engine. Picked up a 2003 Accent engine, thought it would be plug and play, but the wiring for the coil packs is different. The 2006 has individual coils on top of each spark plug, and the 2003 has wot individual coils, each of which feeds two spark plug wires leading to the spark plugs. My question is will this 2003 1.6 liter Hyundai Accent engine be able to work correctly with the 2006 setup? How would i go about wiring this 2003 model up with my 2006 harness? Was bought at a wrecking yard and i seem to have all the sensors intact, but wiring harness had been cut. Everything else seems to match up perfectly. Thanking you in advance, Bill

You probably should have researched this before doing anything. These engines are completely different.

I was informed that they would interchange from 2001 up to 2006. Everything looks exactly the same with the exception of the ignition system coils versus the coil packs.All sensors match up, Everything. I am about to install the 2003 engine into the 2006 body in the morning, unless there really isnt anyway to rewire this ignition problem to work for me. They are the same engine, but i am not a professional, and would respect your opinion, although you are the only one that tells me that it wont work. Please save me a ton of work as i will stop with the install i planned on in the early morning if this is really not going to work for me. i will give you any more info that you need. Thank you very much for the help. i Finally got the locked up motor out, and have been prepping for the install, but havent begun it yet. There is no way that the operating system in your car can operate a 2 coil system. It's just not engineered to do that. The only possible way for it to work is if everything could be changed over to the multi coil system and I suspect none of the mounting points will be there to do that. I would just get the correct engine.
