2003 Dodge Durango interior lights

My interior lights only work if driver door and tailgate are open.any other door open will not activate the interior light or door ajar light on dash.

Most likely the switches on the doors not working are bad. Check to see if there is power to them.

There should be 2 wires to the switch. One is power in and hot all the time. The other wire will get power when the switch is actuated. Check if the dead wire gets power when you actuate the switch.
