I replaced the pcv valve , hooked it back up. Started up, car idled, when put in gear it stalled. Sometimes when driving it doesn't feel like the passing gear is shifting right. But when I unhook the vacuum hose from the PCV valve, it runs right. There is plenty of vacuum coming through hose.
