power assisted steering difficultys

my car power assisted steering has become very stiff recently and appears to be leaking fluid i suspect it may be hydraulic fluid if so what will i need to do to resolve this problem my car in a citroen saxo 1.1i desire 03 reg front wheel drive if that makes any difference any replys will be much appreciated. also furthermore to stiff steering im getting a large boiling sound that appears to be coming from the drivers side of the car bonnet.

You apparently have a power steering leak that needs to be found. This will have to be done visually and no one here can know where your car is leaking from. You need to immediately add more fluid before you end up doing pump damage and then visually determine where the leak is originating from.
