a lot of people have cured this witha new multifunction(wiper) switch. if you can unplug switch harness and motor quits that should indicate bad switch.

I have a different opinion on that problem. Of course the wiper motor is going to stop when you remove all the power sources however the problem is usually caused by the pulse/park circuit board which is attached to the motor. The motor gets constant power so it is able to park itself when shut off.
