Tire size?

it will be hard on the suspension and the front and rear hub bearings. your mileage will be poor at best. the tires will be noisy on the road as well. the tread is too aggressive for highway driving

Okay. Wondering if the hard on the suspension part can be fixed with some heavier duty shocks or suspension? and heavier duty hub bearings? as I said I don't know anything about cars. or do you think that the guy selling it is trying to get rid of it because its worn out? I just don't want to pay $8000 or $9000 dollars for something that is gonna be giving me issues.

why dont you tell him you want new standard tires before buying it. i cant see him throwing away a sale for 500.

Some Tahoes during that year came with the optional 265/70-17 tires installed from the factory. The ones on there are a little taller,but not wild.
However, I will agree with the previous post of them being noisy and adversely affecting fuel milage. I you're going to drive this as a commuter, you need a factory; for highway, sized tire.

We only recommend direct fit parts. However, I do know if you check tirerack,com, they give options. Hope that helps.

Check on drivers front door jam and it should say with the factory requires for your vehicle tire size depending on what option your veh has .changing the tire size up or down may affect your speedometer the way your transmission shifts or even traction control (abs)
