2003 Chevrolet Suburban Engine code reset

How do i manually reset the engine light. The code is for MAF sensor, i took it out yesterday and cleaned it now i need to reset the light so i can see if it comes back on or not. I do not have a reader yet.

You really need at least a code reader to properly clear them there really isn't a other way.Even unhooking the battery wont clear them totally.
