automatic column shift cable 03 Silverado

So won't go into Park or does and won't come out?

The shifter does not want to go back in the park position. I had to tap it to get into Park. Can it be the cable or the detent lever? Appreciate the help.

Mosts likely fault in shift interlock control actuator on column

How difficult is it to get to and I assume replace this item? If you have any tip to get to this part it would be very helpful.
