My car brakes were grinding and all of a sudden when on reverse it would not move so I forced it and the grinding got worst. I had to continue to drive that ay the following day again but this time when I was trying to move forward. so when I was on a light when I tred moving foard it didn't so I forced it gain you can actually feel the grinding of the brake really deep. please help and advice Im a female and have no one to help out new in this city know no mechanic your help of possible causes would really help

Sorry to say but, you'll have to find a technician because it sounds like the rear brakes are, for lack of a better term, "falling apart." If you have drum brakes, the shoe(s) may have come loose from the backing plate (broken or disconnected hold-down spring) and is jamming the drum so that it will not easily turn.

If you have rear disc brakes, the piston has been pushed out so far that it cannot retract and therefore applies the rear brakes at all times.

An automotive technician or someone very knowledgeable concerning the brake system needs to look at this.
Call around the area to see if you can find a shop which will do FREE brake inspections. If so, have them to look at if for you.
