Hi, after checking all of he relays I found this relay to be defective. its GM 15764135, 2/4-W/OPT. TRAILERING D.O.T. I have went to a couple auto parts store with no luck, all of them said it was a dealership part. any idea where I can get this relay, other wise will not have another option but to go to the dealership. thanks....

HI, homer1967 I am having more issues with the escalade. the parking lights will not go off with ignition off or on?? I removed the fuse, and the parking lights go off when ignition is off and work come back on with the ignition on. also the brake lights will not go off with ignition on or off. the right turn signal does not flash. but as soon as I remove the hazard flasher relay the brake lights go off and they work normal. what could be the issue? and what is the function of the hazard flasher relay?? and are the parking lights related to the hazard relay?? all help will be appreciated.

man, you've got some serious issues going on.you may have a problem with the bcm (body control module).I would suggest that you take it to a shop to get it diagnosed.simply because of the knowledge, equipment and information systems it would require to diagnose an issue like this.

HI, HOMER1967
I will do that, but just another quick question, I had a shop do some work on the truck, when I took it in everything was working fine, all of the issues appear when I got the truck back, so I told the shop owner that he had to fix it because everything was fine before they did some work on it. The shop owner said that it was a an electrical problem, and that he did not caused the problem. so I said ok and left, believing in his word. but I just remembered that when I took the truck in the oil pressure gauge kept fluctuating, so I told the shop guys that if they could fix that and so they changed the oil pressure sensor, could that have cause the BCM to go bad, because if it did I will have to have that shop cover full repair cost or at least half. also when I replaced the relay, I found a light green/orange wire coming from the instrument cluster that was cut, I did not find the other end of the cut wire? could that be what is making all of this issues???
Thanks for all of the help.

I don't think that replacing the oil pressure switch would cause any of the issues you are having.as far as the cut wire, you would need a wiring diagram to determine what it is and then you could determine if it has anything to do with your issues.it is a possibility though.please let us know how it turns out.have a good day.
