22 inch rims on it would it bother my transmission?

i have a 2003 cadillac deville and i was wondering if i was to put 22 inch rims on it would it bother my transmission someone told me i would have to put air shocks on my car to lift it up and i was wondering if my transmission would get messed up

not really for the trans but yoru front suspension surely will.

I believe the transmission may suffer some damage too. It can cause inaccurate speedomter readings, and cause lugging, this can cause it to overheat.
