has no power at Fuel pump relay. The relay coil has power and comes on. There does not seem to be any power supply for the pump to run at the relay. I can supply fuel pump with voltage from the battery and fuel pump comes on.

you'll have to check to see if there is a bad connection at the computer or relay not letting it go on. It's a dark green wire with a white stripe. also check the ground wire, it connects to the trans stud.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I'm saying that the relay coil is powered and comes on without a problem.

Problem is with the main feed coming into the relay.

Can you post a diagram? thanks

here is the diagram. hope you have checked the fuse underhood, it's #35 if the pcm doesn't send a signal to the relay though it won't come on either.

Car won't start, in fact died on the freeway. Towed it home and found I had spark. Disconnected the fuel lines at rail, tried to start car, no fuel came out either of the the lines. Fuel pump relay clicks so it is functioning. I took the fuel pump access plate off and the electrical connector at fuel pump only registers 5 volts when ignition or starter is on. Is this the correct voltage? If not what else in the circuit is dropping the voltage? Thanks.

clicking relay does nt mean its supplying the power it means the trigger circuit is working. Here is a guide to help check the relay and the fuel pump relay location #19 in the diagrams below

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please run this test and get back to us.

Under the hood, passenger side front, #3. Also, to be sure, compare wiring colors at relay connector.

My 94 Buick Century died. Has spark so and starts briefly when I spray Starting Fluid through the air intake. The voltage at the fuel pump is plus or minus 9 volts so I suspect the fuel pump relay may be faulty. On March 26th "bluelightnin6" posted a diagram showing the location of the AC Compressor Clutch Relay but the diagram isn't a large enough file to enlarge and read where the Fuel Pump relay is located. Can someone post a larger file or offer any suggestions on what I should be looking for besides the relay.

Use a gauge, check fuel pressure. Use a noid light to check for injector pulse. It shows an oil pressure switch in the fuel pump circuit. If the switch is functional and has voltage, once you crank it enough to bring up oil pressure, the switch closes. The pump will run, even with the relay unplugged. If multiple relays close to each other, look at the color of wires at the connector.

welcome to the forum. The relay should be under the hood, passenger side front, relay pack. If your not sure which one it is, look at the wire colors at the connector. 3.3L engine

Hello, I'm Danny.

Here is the information you requested. It is located on the right hand front of the engine compartment. Here is a tutorial showing how to test a relay:

I've attached a picture below of its location on your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The fuel pump relay is located on a bracket on the right front corner of the engine compartment. A 12-volt test light will verify whether or not power is getting to the relay. Some fuses are not marked in the fuse box. Check all the fuses with the 12-volt test light.
