Viewing to buy BMW 320d Tourer est. 101,000 miles. Auto trans. fluid when viewed through top cover port is full to brim. Should it be? Is this a method of concealing transmission/gearbox (auto) problems?

Take the plug out when it is running, not stopped. The level is correct with the plug out and the transmission oil temperature between 30-50C and it just dribbles out the port. Use the correct oil, or it causes trouble.
