No defroster air flow

The heater works fine. The blower puts out plenty of air volume. When I switch to windshield defroster the air flow does not redirect to the windshield outlets.

check for vacuum leaks under the dash. I believe these vehicles have vacuum actuated vent doors. Let me know what you find.
