start up fine but in few sec it off if it is parked for long time ie 17 18 hrs and require long to start with out no fireing some time bty run out as well i took to work shop could not fine any problem it is VAUXHALL Vectra diesel"

try parking car facing downhill, if it is better then it is probably spill pipes, a ten minute job to do yourself, pipe itself is about £6 and you cut and fit it yourself, spill pipes are under the plastic above the engine
