2002 Toyota Sienna clunk noise

When the van is rolling at speed, between 40-50 mph, with slight varying pressure on the accelerator pedal, letting off it or applying light pressure to it there is a slight feel of a lag and a clunk. Have replaced transmission mounts, various sensors and the problem persists. Looking on line for a direction to try. Latest we have come up with is possibly worn out bushings. Was wondering if someone knows of a specific problem with this specific symptom. Would greatly appreciate any advice. A more specific answer of a educated answer I would be willing to donate for the help.

Have you checked motor mounts? Have checked for play in the CV joint... Steering components?

Yes we have replaced all the transmission and motor mounts. Several of the sensors from advice from someone else.The CV's don't seem to be bad. Could the steering have anything to do with that noise at speed? What about cradle/ control arm bushings?

The bad part is any of the things you mentioned could cause the noise. The only thing you can do is check one thing at a time, including the control arm bushings.

I will take your advice I appreciate it, We are going to take a look at it this weekend, I have also posted on a couple of Toyota forums and I will see what happens there.
