Troubleshooting car alarm

After changing battery in 2002 Toyota 4Runner alarm became active tried to locate vallet switch wasn't able to find also tried to enable alarm by switching key from run to off five time then start but didn't solve problemq

At this point, I hate to say it, but it needs to go to a dealer. Something is causing it to actuate. A dealer is the only place that has the proper test equipment.

I wish I had a better answer, but that is the reality.
