How do you change the fan belt on a 2000 Suzuki Vitarah 2.0 L? Serpentine belt was a snap but the little fan belt look more difficult with the pulleys and fan shroud/fan in the way.

I am attaching the info for each of the engines. G16, H25, and J20.

You must loosen the slider and pivot bolts to the alternator to remove the belt on the G16 and H25. You may also need to loosen a pulley to allow enough room to get the belt out.

How do you change the alternator belt

Loosen the locking (and adjusting if equipped) bolt on the alternator and tug hard at the alternator to release the tension of the belt for removal.
