I have a problem when I run AC

I have a 2002 subaru legacy with a 2.5 L engine it runs fine except after AC is on for awhile it bucks ang check engine light comes on and code comes up po852 which in book says nuetral safety switch and after running for awhile wthout AC on check engine light goes off, code clears and it stops bucking Please Help John M
