I have an 02 Impreza 2.5L TS, after moving from near sea level to a high altitude town I noticed a loss in gas mileage. The locals suggest installing a short ram or cold air intake to combat the lower atmospheric pressure, but am a little uneasy about changing things under the hood. I don't do much with my cars other than routine oil changes and simple maintenance; will installing a new air intake hurt my car in any way? and What kind of system should I look into? I couldn't find anything for 2.5L Subaru on K&N's web site, but AEM had them for the 2.5 Impreza RS... is the RS intake compatible with the TS?
