no heat

Could be the heater core or the air blend door/actuator

Hey rasmataz how have you been?Just to add to this answer i would slide the temp control lever back and fourth from cold to hot and look behind the a/c control's on the drivers side and see if the arm for the blend is moving with temp slider.The blend door is cable operated.Also see if both heater hose's going into the heater core thru the firewall of the car are getting too hot to touch when the engine is up to operating temp.

not a slider
therefore is it still cable controlled or electronic or vacumn

Yes you are correct it's a dial i was thinking of the older year saturns 1991-1999 which were slider's.But it's still cable operated so check what i asked you to check and get back to me.

Sound's like the heater core is restricted i would take the hose's off the heater core and see if you can blow thru it freely.If you can't then you found your problem.Let me know what you find.
