2002 Proton Other Gear stick

Hi, I have just bought a second hand car and on occasions it doesn't slide into gear. Its as if the clutch and the gear stick stop talking to one another and I cannot find the gear (even though I have my foot down hard on the clutch). I feel its quite dangerous. Any suggestions?

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly. I believe the clutch hydraulic system is bad and you need to have it checked/repaired.
