yellow oil goop

Suspect headgasket failure. Is smoke white? check coolant level is it low?

the smoke is white in the morning when its cold... If I start it in the afternoon its blueish. as for the antifreeze I will have to get someone to check... Broken Wrist...

there is antifreeze in the reserve.. not full but there is some in there. attached is a picture of the dip stick with goop

Any idea what it would cost to fix in Orlando, Fl? Is it worth fixing? I have major electrical issures with the security system... By the way.. I am very thankful for your help!!

I had two one was an original key one was a copy... Im not sure if the copy has a chip or not. I bought the car a year old at Pontiac. The one I have now is the copy. I had two gas filters relaced the third year I had the car. I was charged 600 each time. My friend googled the problem online to find that if you put it on acc for 10 min. it will reset. I couldnt believe it. Last year I paid 500 to fix the computer because of the security system.... Im sick of it and everything I read online says that any fix will be temporary. Is there any way to actually fix this??

O.K. way to fix that type turn key to ACC. let it run @10 min. do this three times. if theft light stays on all the time car is runnig and it starts you good to go. if not then have to replace chip in ignition switch. remove radio to access.

ok..... I took the car to my Mech. he put the car on the computer... went online to see what problems this engine has and after started looking around... the goop was only in the dipstick... the oil and engine did not have any goop... so he changed the valve cover gasket and some seals changed the oil and I picked it up yesterday. 271.00 ... dont know if thats bad or good but considering what I was thinking I was very happy... as for the key... i thought about it a few times... reread what you had written and am wondering now.... you said if it starts up and keeps running Im good to go.... is there a chance it wont start up again???? My Mech doesnt do electrical stuff or I would have had him do it. I'm scared!!!!

ok... did it!!! security light on the radio is on. So far so good!!!!Does this mean that nightmare is over? ready for more??? panal lights flash at night sometimes... had problems turning over... bought a new battery and is better but still seems to have the flashing lights and hesitates sometimes... just a tiny bit... to start... does start though.... I was thinking the alternator but wouldnt that come up on the computer check the mech just did??? also.... cant plug phone charger into the lighter.... blows the fuse... ok... one more... the car shakes a little when im stopped at a light... enough that i can put sugar and cream in my coffee and not have to stir it... ok... i swear thats every issue this car has. I figured since we were on a roll here.... I need to get under the hood and see if the goop is back....

ok... tiny amount of goop on the dipstick again.... just at the tip... Ill have the alt output checked...
