After recent body work on fender my day running light only comes on when headlights are turned on & blinker does not work at all.

Driver blinker does not work anymore. How can it be fixed?

take it back to the person who repaired it.
it may be a ground not connected, socket failure, bulb failure, or open circuit.

The place that repaired it is now closed down. So taking it back is not an option. Another place wants $85 to just diagnosis it not even fix it.
