I let my car run at idle for about ten
Minutes and the temp gauge reaches just above the middle
Then the engine starts smoking from the passenger side
Cooling fan. The fans never turn on.

Maybe your fan is faulty? Nothing blocking the fan blades? With everything off, can you turn the fan blades? If you need wiring diagram, holler.
