White smoke from the tail pipe is a sign of burning coolant due to a leaking head gasket.

Where's the smoke coming from? If it's in the tail pipe, oil smoke is blue, excessive fuel is black, and antifreeze is white. If there is a lot of raw fuel that washed down into the oil and diluted it, that can burn off easily and make what appears to be white smoke but it's really oil. There has to be a lot of fuel to wash past the piston rings. Normally there is a running problem associated with that.
