2002 Nissan Quest Leaking oil and Smoking

Visually inspect the engine for leaks, under hood. Pay attention the valve covers and intake manifold where it connects to the cylinder heads and engine block.

Get the vehicle on a lift and from underneath check the oil filter, oil sending unit (near the oil filter) sides of engine for oil oozing down. Check the front of the engine behind the bottom pulley (crankshaft pulley) and the area underneath where the engine and transmission bolt together.
