2002 Mitsubishi montero sport 3.5V6 90K - two months ago started getting loud valve chatter at cold starts - goes away in about 1 minute and helped dramatically when I switched to 5W30. Shortly after started getting hesitation on acceleration and check engine light came on. Had code read and it indicated a "misfire condition on cylinder 5." Question is, could the two be related? Or two separate problems? Thanks in advance - your site is awesome.
