Alternator problems 2002 mercury sable

I keep going through alternators on my 2002 mercury sable..I just replaced battery and alternator 2 days later the battery is flat dead and the alternator is bad. What is the pin out on the 3 pin electrical plug on the alternator?

You probably just need to buy better quality parts. There is too much Chinese made junk out there.

What kind of reply is that? Does this count as being answered? and by an expert to boot.....When I get a better option other than AutoZone, O'Reilly's or Napa I'll be sure to ask where the parts are made....cause everything these three carry are from Mexico....

I have seen NUMEROUS situations of multiple component failures that were eventually resolved by changing brand of the parts. This is especially critical with remanufactured components.
