my car dies at stop lights sometimes

Hi , i have an 02 clk 320 . My car idles roughly when I'm in drive and stopped , ex: at a light . What are the possible reasons . Perhaps a bad ignition coil . What else ..? And also after about 20min of driving i get a red light on the dash
