2002 C230 sport coepe, 70 000kms Is a lambda sensor (Merc Benz c230) the same as an oxygen sensor? I recently had an oil change and immediately thereafter I had a dashboard warning to reduce engine oil level. I was unable to do so immediately and reduced the oil after 6 weeks. Now suddenly my engine "misses" when idling. Diagnostic tool diagnosed "faulty lambda sensor". Could this be as a result of the initial excess oil in the sump.
