Wayne, i got a similar problem, except ALL doors and trunk won't open, if yours is the same,first check all relevant fuses, and when you push the button to open the trunk, do you hear a noise like a little motor running, if not then our problems are the same, i think it is one of three things, (a) little motor to pump air pressure, (b) solenoid or (c) solenoid, i also don't know where they are.
