My car feel sluggish frequently - especially in the mornings. Could this be just a fuel system cleaning job since I'm ashamed to say that I have never done this outside of the car warranty? I did just have the fuel filter replaced. What should I buy to clean my throddle body and fuel injector system so that I can do this myself for a 2002 Mazda Tribute? Can you provide instructions if it involves anything more than poring something into the gas tank? Thank You! Lisa

First, if you haven't had the engine tuned up, you may want to consider that too. As far as the injector cleaner, if you do it yourself, they make cleaner that you just mix with the gas in the tank. Follow the directions on the container because each company may have different requirements. There are cleaners that are injected directly into the system while the engine is running; however, they are usually done at shops.
