Car wouldn't stay on after a jump. Changed Alternator. Tried to jump again and will not even turn over. Radio and AC indicator light turn off when turning the key forward. Battery and starter have both been tested and are 100%. Only thing I can think of is the anti theft system. Both battery connectors appear to be good. Any suggestions...at wits end.

BAD STARTER....OR HUNG UP IN THE FLYWHEEL TEETH?........LIGHTS DIM OUT BECAUSE THE STARTER IS DRAWING AMPS BUT CANNOT TURN?

OTHER THAN THAT........THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE PROBLEM...SEE "MY ANSWER" IN THIS LINK

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/1996-chevrolet-tahoe-wont-start-sounds-dead-battery-jumpbox-get-same-reults

...............EVEN JUST TODAY, I GRABBED 2 BATTERY CLAMPS, EZily TURNED THEM ABOUT A 1/4 TURN, WITH MY BARE HAND AND WIGGLED 'EM RIGHT OFF!........THE "SPLITS" WERE BOTH "BOTTOMED OUT" BEFORE THE CLAMP EVER GOT TIGHT ON THE BATTERY POSTS

.........ON ANOTHER RIG, I GRABBED THE WIRE GOING INTO THE BATTERY CLAMP STRAP, I PULLED IT SIDEWAYS 2 OR 3 TIMES AND PULLED OUTWARD (NOT EVEN HARD!)....I HAD THAT PUPPY IN MY HAND!!!, THE CLAMP WAS STILL SECURED TO THE POST

RETURN TO THIS POST WITH A BIG OLE GRIN!!!

Thank you for your response! The Starter tested fine at Advance Auto and all the other lights and indicators stay well lit at the point of turning the car over. When I attempt to start the car the only actions that occur are the radio powers off temporarily and the AC LED disappears. I do see your point and believe something is going on at the connector clamps. I have cleaned and yanked on both the NEG and POS connections and still the same issues. Last night while tapping the POS connector back on the post the horn went off and the hazards began to blink intermittently. Also after I reconnect the battery the Mazda Vehicle Security System (Anti Theft) goes haywire. After I went and had the Starter tested and reconnected everything, the vehicle started up no problem or apparent draw on the battery. I then turned the vehicle back off and I'm back to square one. Mazda piggybacks several wires into the battery post connectors so changing them out on my own will not be possible. FRUSTRATED TO SAY THE LEAST!!
