replaced front/rear rotors & calipers 5/2012,They are now rusting as of 10/18/2012.Is this normal

5 months of use-could be just the enviroment-the price is way too steep -my opinion

A little rust formation is expected on the edges of the rotor but the part that the pads slide on would not rust, unless the vehicle is not driven for a while.
