Jeep running Rough

I've got a 02 jeep liberty. Yesterday had a P0302 code pop up and the engine started running really rough. Replaced all the plugs and the coil pack for cyl #2. Also replaced the TPS sensor. Now the engine is still running rough and the smell from the exhaust smells like gas.

Check compression and injector for no.2 cylinder

Changed out injector for no.2 cyl. still running rough. Now my cat is going. The smell of rotten eggs is starting. Would a bad cat cause a misfire and rough running engine? Replaced everything in cyl 2. Running out of ideas. Have not gotten compression done yet. Trying to figure it out before I have to take it in.
