Timing jump

Engine is equipped with timing chains and to jump time means the chain has skipped a tooth or more resulting in the valve timing not being synchronized with the crankshaft.

If there are no damage to the valve trains, you need to remove the timing chain and realign (replacement might be necessary if there are excessive wear).

Book time for job is listed at twenty one hours.
