hi. diagnostics from autozone said a sensor needs depla emdnt. pep boy said the part. cozts 469. seems pricey. also can I change fuses myself. is there a way I can test them or leave it to mechanics who ultimately charge me a mortgage payment. thanks

Testing fuses is a simple job done with a test light or DVOM.

For the repairs, we do not know what component is faulty and you did not provide any trouble codes. Having a trouble code does not necessarily mean a component is bad.
