Why do my winshield wipers not park ?

Wiper linkage seized. Replaced it and now wipers work but won't park in the right position. Have tried two different motors and the same thing happens. Fuses are OK. What could it be. This did not happen before linkage seized.

try disconnecting linage from motor. turn on motor (wipers) and then turn off. reconnect linkage with wipers parked. test

I have tried that and all that happens is the wipers get out of sync.

ok you say it parks in the wrong place. is it the same place each time?

if the place they stop is the same each time then just loosen wiper arms and move to right position and re-tighten?

They do stop in the same place each time. Should I loosen the linkage at the motor (no master spline) or should I loosen the individual wiper arms and move them ?
