2002 Hyundai Elantra Transmission will not separate from block

Transmission will not separate from block only half inch. Is there something that I am doing wrong. Tranny mounts removed. cables removed. Trans axles pulled. Please reply

You will have to ensure ever thing is undone, if the transmission will retract evenly then it will be seized in the splines of the clutch disc or something is hanging up on the transmission externally, i would support the transmission and lever evenly from side to side to make sure the splines are free it should just slide straight out.
